This week, Loganville must now head back home to Red Devil Stadium to face the unbeaten 3-0 region 8 6A Winder-Barrow Bulldogs. This looks like it's going to be a daunting task for Loganville as they just haven't been able to click offensively all year long. Winder Barrow has put up an average of exactly 40 points (40.0) per game and have scored 16 total touchdowns while LHS has only put up an average of 11.3 per game with only 5 touchdowns. Winder is lead by their Senior quarterback Brock Landis, who has thrown for 7 TD's and 608 yds with a 53.3 completion percentage. They have talented receivers including Sr Jaidon Turner ,who has 188 yds and 3 TD's. Look for Winder to rely on their strong pass heavy attack against Loganville.
Loganville has surprisingly struggled on all accounts this year but especially on the defensive side of the ball, giving up 69 points and being outscored 69-34 this year. They are below avg. in every major category This isn't good news as we prepare to play Winder Barrow, a team that has put up points big time this year. The Red Devils need to try to figure out how to contain Winder's offense. We saw them "build a wall" against Eastside's "ground and pound" last week as they looked great from my vantage point in the booth but can they prevent Winder Barrow from beating them through the air? Offensively, Can QB David Smith and the offense finally get something going on the offensive side of the ball to slow down Winder? Will we see a different scheme from the shotgun tailback handoff roll back to pass system?
We shall see this week as the Devils return home.
Keys to Watch
*Contain Winder Barrow's Offense, limit their pass attack
*Adjustments to the Offense after last week
*Staying Encouraged and Motivated
