This week it will be the final regular season game of the year as LHS stays at home to play their finale against the Johnson Knights of Johnson in Gainesville, GA. Johnson has not won a game all season ,in fact, they haven't won a game since 9/25 of 2015 when they beat the Riverside Military Academy Eagles 31-7 at home. That's a long time of not winning. Don't expect this game to be a cake walk either. Expect a close game. Looking at the numbers, Johnson comes into the game 0-9 (0-5 in region play) Loganville 1-8 (1-4 in the region). Johnson comes into the game averaging 7.8 points per game while Loganville 11.11 points this year. Loganville's numbers look like this 72.8 yds rushing per game, 11.4 passing yards per game, total yds 184.2 per game, 68.8 tackles per game, 1.2 sacks per game. Here are the team leaders for Loganville.

For LHS I look for these keys to beat Johnson.
*Utilizing the run
*Putting pressure on the weak Johnson offensive line
*Playing with intensity and finishing each play to the best of ability
I see this being a battle. Both teams haven't had good seasons and look to finish with a win. Expect a close game given the fact that both teams have struggled. I hope the Red Devils can finish this year with a win, send the seniors out with a win and get some hope towards the future by allowing underclassman some playing time.
Before I conclude this last blog of the season, I want to say thank you so much to everyone who has supported us all year in our return to broadcasting. In spite of the tough year for LHS, It has been a joy to broadcast the games this year, travel to opposing stadiums and see the beautiful sights of high school football under those "Friday Night Lights". Thank you for a great year and we look forward to more seasons to come!
Tune in at 6:30 for our final Alpha Communications pre game show leading up to the game at 7:30. We hope you will be listening
